Here, my coworker Ender is helping me write the next chapter. Could he be the reason it’s going to take 2 weeks? _Gasp_
Because my arm HAS fallen asleep underneath the weight of his massive skull.
As a post-Thursday-chapter silver lining, I will secretly announce that I hope will lift some spirits: I hope to expand the Patreon exclusive chapters from 5 to 7 some time this year.
Of course, that requires me to be more than 2 chapters ahead, so please wish me luck and the speed of a raven in flight.

Okay, so the free chapter this week is Lacer questioning Damien
“Does she like him too”
“This is why Lacer would be a bad fit for S”
Dude I called it, oh man I called it so very long ago! Squee, it’s so fing adorable.
I think D is handling being in the friend zone pretty well, only slightly worried someone might actually win S, however, would still be supportive I’m sure.
I kinda love the idea that our poor girl has this [reverse] harem thing going on and is so completely oblivious to it, or just grossed out by it.
Like part of me hope she doesn’t really ever become romantically interested, at least not until she’s a lot more comfortable with her power levels
Since we all know currently she’s not strong enough
And is still kinda struggling with the ideas that it’s okay to have friends and maybe goof off just a little.
And really, I kinda love Lacer, seriously flawed as he is. I think he toes if not crosses the line and then turns around and waves at boundaries… But it seems he really only does it because he knows that this is prob the only way he’s gonna get the info and screw making s or d uncomfy for a little while if it means they are safe and healthy in the long run.
Hey, what are the odds that Lacer eventually officially excepts D as an apprentice?
And I thought lacer realized s was the queen, but I guess off camera kinda changed his mind.
I feel like something changed somewhere or I misread And _sigh_
I am so confused

I have TWO unread chapters in your fic, I think. That’s helpful. but I won’t read those until later tonight. Bless you for having a long-running fanfiction, it helps so much.
I’m just rabid this week. I feel like it’s been weeks of things almost happening, but not quite. The pot feels like it’s about to boil over!
