So, my theory that Raz is maybe Myrddn feels increasingly likely. Big black dome shield thing and his similarities to Myrddn’s personality in the diaries.
The missing heirlooms are suspicious. If Ennis took them to sell, he’s even a worse person than we thought.
And monster! With teeth! I think this is something that Claudio unleashed, but I’d have a hard time explaining why.

I have my doubts that Ennis took them. They’re not exactly valuable and that of Miakodia’s that was valuable (the ring with a master level celerium conduit!) He did not sell, even in times of dire poverty.
He’s not a good man. He’s a terrible father. But I think he did love his wife.
I think grandfather took the notebooks. Why, I can only speculate. Maybe for the contents - to conceal or examine. Maybe as a keepsake.
I think it’s interesting that Miakoda was connected enough to her ancestry that she had heirlooms - more than just the ring. The adoption must have been at a later age.
It’s also interesting that she didn’t take it to Raaz to recharge.
Lots to think about.
I really want to speculate more on Claudio - aren’t there bargains that shamans make with spirits? What if he’s a hack and his spirit does all the work with dreams?

Yes, I’m not sure he’d be a hack exactly - he’s still delivering what he says he’d deliver and doing it via a bargain made with his own power, but I suspect that’s exactly what’s happened.
There’s been so much that Siobhan has researched about shamans and spirits and dreams. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the three are so linked together.
Also there was that shaman Siobhan ran errands for and when he gave her a potion she felt horrifically ill. I can’t remember the exact wording, but the one who dismissed her with a “I guess you just don’t have the constitution for greatness, dearie”. She thought he was a fraud (he probably was) but I wonder.
I might go look that bit up and mull over it a little. I wonder if there’s some reason she’s been drawn to shamanism. After all, she knows the beginning - the middle is the only mystery. There are probably clues that her subconscious picks up on or that she purposefully doesn’t think about. She’s very good at suppressing herself that way.

My current theory is that he’s had a break event very recently due to not sustaining himself properly and still casting/shamaning a lot.
Given it sounds like he’s barely eaten in a long time he could have turned into or been possessed by something with a feral hunger, hence the sheep. We also haven’t seen him since before the sheep..
Agree, to expand on it: My theory is that Claudio already came in infected. And that his condition is deteriorating. Whether Claudio the human is still inside somewhere or if hes gone gone and the thing/demon is just wearing his skin idk. I think the human vessel cannot contain whatever the entity thats taking hold of Claudio/parading as Claudio.
A lot of the bad omens started around when Claudio joined. Sure a couple dont align but we are also supposed to be inside S subconscious rn and not acting reliving the events so not every event is probably 1:1 accurate to when it happened.
Basically I think Claudio is now an entity/demon and its wearing its vessel down greatly. My biggest clue is that the sheep are confirmed to be regurgitated. Basically something ate them and threw them up after. Who else is throwing up? And trying to cover it up? Claudio.
I think two things can be happening at once, Grandfather messing with stuff he shouldnt Mikoda the aberrant mirror to the plane of darkness and Claudio came in possessed with a demon attracted to such things.
Also since Claudio the human/demon seems to be an expert in mind/dream magic and S had issues with dreams. I think that the thing inside Claudio is interested in her and wants to take her as a vessel. Or perhaps its interested in Grandfather as a new vessel and S was the second choice of last resort when everything hit the fan? Perhaps, the thing tried to take over S when Claudio’s vessel was of no use anymore and Grandfather as a last act of protection for her, sealed the demon inside of her. Inadvertently allowing her to live and not deterioriate like Claudio
