He doesn’t seem to be being too secretive about his dealings with the artisan, financing a project to build spell rods and being the first to receive one… But the Raven Queen seems to have been the first one in Gilbratha seen using one, as the Red Guard now know… What do you think will come of that?

The latest few chapters have an answer! It does create problems. I wonder how much time it will take for Lacer to put together the evidence.

Owning a handy stick that can hold a bunch of circular drawings has turned into being known to more closely monitor Lacer’s apprentice than the man himself and being a known mind mage who can remove all traces of her work.
Oh the seeds of distrust that has the potential to sow.

They are so confused. They know she should have told them the truth that she can and does lie, but then they freak out when she seemingly tells them the truth but they think its a lie, and then she’s tells a lie but I says wasn’t trying to lie, and they think she can just say whatever she wants and fool their divination. Sebastien is what you might call, “a person of interest” at this point.
