the buttons for the vest are hopefully gonna be tiny potion vials, and i think this one is good for teh [i know what is happening in the cloud of darkness] vial

Was my first attempt at busk, and if you look, the busk has a pretty detail

The fancy fabric part of the vest is mostly done!
Needs the stuff for the quick change installed

From behind the dress looks how it’s suppose to unless I manage to screw it up.
I do not know why my camera decided to be a butthead, but my glasses said they wanted to be mean, maybe I can get a better image when blue gets home

Okay now I am feeling a bit of the con crunch.
The magnets I was planning on using to attach sleeves? Not good enough!
So I guess I have to beg blue to take me to a hardware store on the way to a thing tomorrow!
So I messed up a few times to start, but one sleeve “done” (just needs hemming and that will be last!
Now to work on the other side, and it’s an annoying process

Please ignore the fact that the dress form is leaning sideways, right now it just has one stick up its butt holding it up, no feet no support… So yeah, gravity is a thing
But I also want to point out that this means gravity is pulling on one of the sleeves (which I need to tweak for a better fit) AND STAYING ON WITH JUST THE MAGNETS AND WIRE
Like heck yeah!
Sleeves need tweaked and hemmed at cuff, lining also needs its special hem done, but that can be done by hand at any point
The front part is what I am gonna focus on tomorrow. I get maybe two chances to get it right without needing to get more of the 16$ a yard fabric rushed to me from Seattle proper.
But I am happy! All goes well this part will be done by week’s end and I can do the cloak as well.
But first the busk and then the buttons for the vest.

Putting the buttons on at the hotel and hemming the sleeves is all that is left of my outfit being functional and done

Okay, I am totally feeling the con crunch. I have tomorrow to enter e.e
okay I have submitted the entry…

the video version has not been submitted, however i did tell them about it.
Tldr. I didn’t win, I was up against much better costumes!
But I did get a couple of compliments from the workmanship judges! And told to work on my seams, 
I will hopefully get some better feedback tomorrow

Another quick update, when people realize I was the first entry at the masq, I was told we did a really good job. (Uh huh)
But honestly, as we left, I could barely hear the MC telling people to read the series to find out what happened next because the cheering and clapping was just that loud
And they didn’t do that for everyone
… It took a times asking different beings, but turns out one of my friends is responsible for the hard drive with all the videos.
In a week or so I will have more information about that.
I felt so dumb, but it was fun, and I was told I did do a good job on the costumes.
I hope a few people read the series now!

Does anybody know in which chapter/book our girl color changes her dress red?
I am going to make some serious alterations to the dress, but at 16 bucks a yard it can’t be a one time use and I hate it
