Referencing question can anyone reference chapters on thaum capacity through the series?
I am most interested in the final mention of Sebastian/shiobahn thaum capacity. I know there is a mention of 600’s at some point but I thought there was one after that and cannot find it.

I think Chapter 229 - Dueling the High Crown’s Heir has the most recent mention of her specific thaum capacity, but its just referencing the test you’re thinking of that put her at 618 thaums. Since then they haven’t really been at the university as term is over so I don’t believe there have been any further opportunities for her to measure it.

618 is the latest, but that was nearly 2 months (15.07) before the current chapter (12.09). That was also a month before she decided to keep the shadow up at all times (15.08) so who knows where she’s at right now. I doubt we’ll know for certain until the 3rd term, but there’s still 1.5 months until then.

It’s hard to speculate at this stage because I don’t believe we know how exactly dual casting affects growth. Let’s just ignore that to figure out the hypothetical minimum. I’ll take 1/5 thaums per hour because that’s the figure Siobhan states on 30.08.

15.07-15.08: 31 days, ~10 hours of practice = ~72 thaums.
15.08-12.09: 28 days, ~23 hours? = ~128 thaums

So in total she should be around 818. Probably more due to dual casting. Also no idea if that 23 hour figure is actually accurate.
