There are tons of nasty bugs going around right now, and it sounds like Azalea is really sick.
Hey guys,
I have been extremely ill, and even now barely have the energy to sit here typing this note. There won’t be a chapter this Thursday, and probably not next Thursday, either. I’m just too sick to write.
This setback comes at a rather unfortunate and critical time, as this book should be finished and published soon. It means I am going to have to delay the release date, too, if I want to have time for proper proofreading. I’ll update you guys with more details when I have them.
I plan to post the next chapter on Thursday the 23rd as I imagine I must be well enough to write by then, but will inform you if that’s not the case.
Please remind the creator of the little world we all enjoy so much that she is not allowed to be sick.
She needs to get better right this second. Not so we can have more storytime, but so she can be happy and healthy!
And that she is fully expected to laze about and eat comfort foods as well as doing fun/happy mindless activities to encourage her body’s self regeneration to work properly.
She needs to take all the time she needs to be healthy enough to do her best work after all.
Which soups does she like? Does she prefer her grapes peeled?
I caught covid last month and then something worse than covid in jan, and I’m still shaky and can’t take deep breaths.
If it’s that kind of “wipe you out and make you feel like you’re dying” illness, this might not be a long enough break. That goes doubly if it’s two or three things at once. Kaiser just sent this out to the DC area:
"We are seeing a large increase in cases of flu, norovirus, COVID-19, RSV and pneumonia this month. "
So I hope Azalea’s feeling better by this week or next and has actually been able to get some rest. This cold season is brutal.
