I personally would rather pay for all my books and make sure the creator gets their cut
But I was wondering does Amazon even pay the authors when someone checks out a book with KU?
I am also extremely interested in how this works because I’ve used it for a while know but it’s always different from hearing it from the authors perspective, because I read I consume literary content in such a vast amount that while I love to support authors and bought the lastest novel, I also don’t want to be party to the exploitation of artists and authors I so dearly love.

… I am okay with being charged if they are giving employees living wages, properly maintaining equipment, but all “profits” after that? At least half should go to the creators…
Profits should not go to some group of shareholders while creators get almost nothing

A lot of libraries have ebooks you can check out for free
